Message from DCBC Captains

We would like to thank the President of DCBC, Chester White, for his continuous support, our sponsors CfEL for their generosity, all the members of the committee, Ray, James, Steve, Jenny, Julie, Stephane and Ruth for their enthusiastic work and all of the coaches, rowers and members of DCBC for their motivation and hard effort on making an enjoyfull rowing term! We will continue the hard work with dedication and enthusiasm to make an even more succesful term for DCBC.

Upcoming races

Thursday and Friday this week come out and support Darwin crews in Fairbairns! The crews racing are:

Thursday 30th @ 9:15 - M2 (boat number 122).
Thursday 30th @ 14:00 - M3 (boat number 215).
Friday 1st @ 10:00 - W1 (boat number 281).
Friday 1st @ 12:00 - M1 (boat number 320).

All divisions start at Jesus boathouse; novice divisions finish at the railings on the Long Reach and senior divisions finish at the Little Bridge downstream of the motorway (A14) bridge.

Also, don't forget to sign up for Hall on Friday this week to celebrate our adventures since the last DCBC dinner!

DCBC Fundraiser Update

Dear all!

It's finally done and I wanted to say a HUGE thank you very much to everyone who has helped make this year's DCBC fundraiser a success! So many of you have joined in and together you have raised the fantastic sum of 2325 pounds! Enough to pay for the new set of men's blades that has just arrived!!!

Your name will be published on our website and it will go on to a nice shiny plaque in the bar!

If you are already on the list but have not sent any money yet, please do so in the next couple of weeks. However, if you are a UK tax payer and would like to use gift aid, then please hold on to your money a bit longer. I am still in the process of arranging the gift aid thing. I will be in touch with you as soon as I've got it sorted!
