You and your guest are cordially invited by the Darwin College Society to a spring walk in Waresley Wood. Waresley Wood is an ancient oak-ash wood, part of the original ancient South Cambridgeshire woodland and home to many breeding birds, species of moths and butterflies. In spring the ground is carpeted with bluebells, violets and oxlips. You will meet at the reserve for a 10.30 am start with your guides, followed by lunch in an nearby hostelry. The cost of the trip will be £5 including a donation to the Wildlife Trust. You will be expected to pay for your lunch on the day. To book go to the Alumni Events page.
