You and your guest(s) are invited to a talk and tour of the Sedgwick Museum followed by lunch at Darwin College. The day begins at 10.30am with a tour of the collection by alumnus and Director of the museum Dr Ken McNamara, and will be followed by lunch at Darwin College. The Sedgwick Museum, founded in 1728, is the oldest geological museum in the world. Dr McNamara will lead a tour that highlights the collection of the founder, Dr John Woodward and the subsequent development of the museum by geologists such as Adam Sedgwick. The cost for the day will be £5.00 per person, the price of lunch will be payable by credit or debit card on the day and is dependent on what you choose.
