The Study centre is situated in the site between the Old Granary and Silver Street bridge. The building is designed to provide members with quiet working space, to house the College Library, and to provide members with computing facilities.
Facilities include PCs and Macs, which can be accessed using the College password assigned to you up arrival, and both black & white and colour printers. Printing costs (5p for b&w and 20p for colour) will be charged to your College bill at the end of each month. Remote submission of print-jobs is possible at http://www.darwin.cam.ac.uk/printing using your College login details. Please note that you will also need to present your University Card at the release terminal by the printers to start printing such jobs.
Access to the Study Centre is via your University Card. On initial use the system can take up to 30 seconds to electronically register your card details – hold your card over the reader until the blue light changes to green. After initial registration the response time is almost instant. Should you encounter any access difficulties please contact the Porter's Lodge.
