Message from the Master, Dr Mike Rands:

"I am delighted to report that we have just completed a major acquisition of College accommodation, comprising the 44 flats known as Causewayside. 

Located on Fen Causeway adjacent to the River Cam and about 200 metres from the main College buildings, Causewayside consists of two- and three-bedroom flats; this provides us with a tremendous opportunity to increase both the amount and the variety of accommodation we can provide to students and post-docs, and is especially suitable for College members with families. 

Causewayside represents the largest single acquisition of college accommodation since our Foundation.  We will now undertake a wider strategic review of the College estate, with representatives from the Fellowship, students and staff, to consider how best to enhance our provision of shared facilities, accommodation and services for the whole College community. Improving the environmental performance of Causewayside (along with other parts of our estate) will be a challenge, but one we relish as part of our wider plans to address sustainability."
