Studentships: One of Darwin’s particular strengths is in bringing together a diversity of students and their academic disciplines. In order to attract the highest calibre of students from around the world, it is imperative that we are able to offer structured financial support to prospective students – many of whom will go on to become leaders in their field. We currently need to offer more student bursaries and scholarships at both Masters and PhD level. Support for studentships often leverages matching funds from other organisations, leading in many cases to a doubling of the donation.

Student Hardship Fund: It’s important that we are able to support our students if they suffer from unexpected financial hardship. Donations to student hardship will support students who may not otherwise be able to afford to complete their studies.

Buildings and Grounds: We aim to significantly increase the number of students whom we can accommodate onsite, and to update the buildings, for example by improving access to the dining hall.

General Fund: We are working to grow Darwin’s unrestricted general endowment, enabling the College to fund projects and academic initiatives and to direct your support to where it is most needed.
