Plant-based dishes twice daily
Overseen by Ivan Higney, Darwin’s catering team provides a wide choice of hot meals twice a day through the servery, as well as a cafe facility. The team also caters and serves Formal Halls and College events, as well private dining for members.
Darwin prides itself on the quality of its catering, as well as on the catering team’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the food served on-site, for which it has received numerous awards and accreditations.
Summer Opening hours are;
Servery
- Friday 31st July – Early closure at 1:30pm for the Summer Staff Party
- Re-opens to normal hours
- Monday 7th September from 12:00 noon
Café

- Mon-Fri – full sandwich and fresh salads available
