To access the rear entrance of the College from the gardens, there is step free access from Newnham Road underneath the Dining Hall.
This is located at the junction of Silver Street with Newnham Road.
Enter onto the College grounds through the large blue metal gates
Proceed across the car park under the Hall to emerge in the College gardens near the back door
The back door to the College is open during the day for step-free access to the main College areas.
A small platform lift is situated just inside the back door, allowing access to the principal corridor.
The wall-mounted controls allow independent operation of the lift
This runs the length of the building from the Bar and Common Room, past the Porters Lodge and the administrative offices such as Accounts and Accommodation, down towards the Old Library and the Reading Room.
