Darwin College was delighted to host a dinner on Thursday 7th March celebrating the Canadian community across Cambridge, together with the Canadian High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency The Hon. Ralph Goodale. The event was organised by the Cambridge Canadian Club.
College Fellow Professor Jonathan Heeney, who originally hails from Toronto, oversaw the gathering, which brought together students, staff and academic colleagues from throughout the University. Over 500 Canadian nationals are currently studying at Cambridge, while over 100 are employed by the University, and the event provides an annual opportunity to connect.
