Darwin Fellow and Director of Cambridge Zero Professor Emily Shuckburgh, and College Catering Manager Ivan Higney took to the stage on Monday evening to launch CamEATS ZERO, a new initiative focused on supporting the Colleges to implement sustainable food policies.
Working in collaboration with the Catering Managers Committee, of which Ivan is chair, the group brings together researchers and catering staff to explore the impact of food on Colleges’ efforts to reduce emissions.
“It’s all about assisting Colleges in their sustainable journey,” said Ivan.
