Causewayside

Purchased from the University in 2022, Causewayside is the cornerstone of the Newnham Road accommodation.

The property, separated into 7 staircases of 6 flats and an additional two flats in the Lodge, Causwayside represents the largest family accommodation provision for graduates in Cambridge.

A range of two and three bedroom flats are available for multi-year stays, allowing students with families to have a secure and stable home during their stay in Cambridge.

All flats are equipped with furniture including fully equipped kitchens

Communal free-to-use laundry facilities are offered on site.

1 Kings Road – Flat 1

1 Kings Road was originally a pub called The Hat and Feathers which the college acquired and then converted and extended into four flats for couples and two small two bedroomed houses.

Flat 1 has one bed room suitable for a couple. It is just over half a mile from the main college building on the corner of Barton Road and Kings Road.

Wireless networking, eduroam, is included in the rent. The flat is supplied with electricity only, the cost of which is not included in the weekly rent. Council tax will only be payable for any partner who does not have student status. A £500 deposit is required for a flat which will be charged to your College account shortly after arriving.

1 Kings Road was originally a pub called The Hat and Feathers which the college acquired and then converted and extended into four flats for couples and two small two bedroomed houses.

Flat 2 is a studio flat suitable for a couple. It is just over half a mile from the main college building on the corner of Barton Road and Kings Road.

Electricity and internet are not included in the weekly rent. Council tax will be payable for any partner who does not have student status. A £500 deposit is required for a flat which will be charged to your College account shortly after arriving.
