Former Darwin Research Fellow Professor Michael Scott has been appointed as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Warwick. He will take up his new role this Friday, 1st September.

Michael was Moses and Mary Finley Research Fellow from 2007-11, before joining the University of Warwick where he is Professor of Classics and Ancient History. He is the current Director of the Warwick Institute of Engagement, as well as an author and broadcaster.

Commenting on his new position, Michael said:

“I am honoured and delighted to be taking up the role of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International). I look forward to working with colleagues across the University to develop our international student recruitment, enrich the inter-cultural feeling of our campus and deepen the range of international opportunities for our home students.”
